What the Space Needle wishes it was...
Yeah, this is late, but I just saw it and it's damn cool. Like the Space Needle, Taipei 101 is used for a fireworks show in New Years. Only Taipei 101 is (currently, not for long) the tallest building in the world, and their show this year didn't screw up.
The show is short, but it is amazing to see a structure that large totally lit up with fireworks. Flash video for this year, click here for last year's.
London New Years is also one of the best in the world, with the backdrop of Big Ben and the brilliant use of the London Eye as well. The only thing that sucks about this one is the camera work. Shoot from one location and show the entire show! Not these damn crowd shots and zooms.... $#$%@$!&@&!
